Pelican Beach Resort has probably the most number of pools compared to any other resort in the area.
Dolphin Pool and Hot Tub
Dolphin pool is the legacy outdoor pool of the resort. Named after the dolphin fountain, this pool has a shallow end with a few steps to go in. A favorite pool for kids to play with balls. It is on the east side of the building, which gives protection from the sun in the afternoons. It has loungers around it. Kiddie pool and the legacy hot tub are next to the Dolphin pool. Either this or the Gulf pool is heated in cooler seasons.
Zero Entry Gulf Pool
Built and opened in 2021, Gulf Pool is located on the south of the building just behind the sand dunes. Another favorite spot for kids with its shallow, zero entry side. The new hot tub next to Gulf Pool can accommodate 12 people (adults only). Either this or the Dolphin pool is heated in cooler seasons.
Indoor/Outdoor Pool
One of the popular amenities of the winter season is the heated indoor pool, which has access to a 3rd outdoor pool. Situated next to the cafe and fitness center, you can just jump into the pool after your sauna or steam room session
