Shadow of The King | Wednesday Night Concert Series

The Wednesday Night Concert Series returns to Baytowne! This spring sit back and relax, as you take in the cool crisp air, and enjoy live entertainment. The concert series will feature both local and regional talent from a variety of genres. Concert begins at 7pm on the Events Plaza Stage.
Ron adams was born in rural Jefferson county Alabama and starting singing at his church Tabernacle Christian church/school.
He then became a Birmingham police officer in 1986 and after saving a man’s life by going into a burning house with two other officers he was awarded police officer of the year. Ron then transferred to Vice/Narcotics as a detective where he sometimes worked undercover.
He was in a club one night working undercover when a guy was doing an Elvis tribute show. The man noticed Ron laughing and he came over to Ron and said ” you wants sing then go for it I quit!!”
Ron got on stage and his life changed forever. Within a few years of working as an officer and singing on the side he quit the police department and started performing all over the southeast and the Cayman Islands. Ron is famous for his Elvis tribute show as ” the shadow of the king” he also performs a Johnny cash show and a rat pack show where he imersonates Dean Martin.
Ron still tours selling out crowds everywhere he plays. Put on your blue suede shoes and get ready for a Las Vegas style performance from the one and only Ron Adams ” the shadow of the king”
