DESCRIPTION:Let’s Go Fishing! Join us for the 77th Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo. Daily weigh-Ins are 10am – 7pm on the docks at AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar.\nThe Destin Fishing Rodeo is a non-profit organization supported by our members\, sponsors\, local businesses\, and the fishing community. Home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the world\, Destin offers some of the finest charter boats and the premier fishing rodeos of all.\nHow to participate: Private boats and Charter boats must register to enter the Rodeo at least 24 hours prior to weighing a fish. There is no entry fee for anglers on registered vessels. Shore fishermen can participate by just bringing their catch to the scale.– Fish aboard a registered Charter boat– Fish aboard a registered Private boat– Kayak fishing (registration required)– Paddle Board fishing (registration required)– Pier\, Bridge\, Jetty fishing (registration required)– Surf and Shoreline fishing (registration required)\nNot an angler? Not a problem! Daily weigh-ins take place every day from 10 AM – 7 PM at the docks at AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar. Come watch fishermen bring in the BIG ONE\, and meet Miss Destin and the Rodeo’s weighmaster\, Bruce Cheves.\nA fishing trip in the “Worlds Luckiest Fishing Village” promises a fresh catch every time. SUMMARY:City of Destin's Annual Fall Festival
DESCRIPTION:The City of Destin’s 25th Annual Fall Festival will be held at the Destin Community Center on Monday\, October 27\, 2025\, from 5:00-8:00pm. We ask that you please bring one non-perishable food item for admission. There will be booths with fun games and activities\, a cakewalk\, a costume contest\, a spacewalk/slide\, a jack-o-lantern contest\, and food for sale. Tickets for games and food will be on sale for 20/$5. Registration for the costume contest is 5:00-6:00pm. Carved pumpkins must be dropped off before 3pm (judging promptly at 5pm). Please call 654-5184 for more information and come join the fun!\nThe City of Destin’s 25th Annual Fall Festival Jack-O-Lantern Contest will be held on Monday\, October 27\, 2025\, at the Destin Community Center. All carved pumpkins are to be dropped off before 3pm on Monday\, October 27th\, and will be judged that same day. First through third place prizes will be awarded in these categories: scariest\, funniest\, and most original. The pumpkins will be lit and on display at the Community Center on Monday night at the City of Destin’s Fall Festival. All pumpkins not picked up by 8pm Tuesday\, October 28th will be discarded
